"If everyone played the ukulele, the world would be a better place." - Jake Shimabukuro
I'm glad you've decided to play ukulele! I am devoting this page to some of my favorite ukulele sites - if you come across a site that you find helpful, email the link and a brief description to me and I'll post it online. What's the best way to learn songs? Play them with someone else! AND: if you learn a song, teach it to someone else ~ share the love.
It's easy to find ukulele lessons online ~ just Google 'ukulele lessons,' or better yet, go to YouTube, type the name of the song that you are looking for followed by the word "ukulele" : ex. "Eight Days a Week ukulele." You can also Google "easy ukulele songs', or any other phrase that you might think up.
Be sure to tell your friends and family about this page - soon we'll all be jamming along with our ukuleles! And if you're from northern Arizona, feel free to stop by and jam with the Jerome Ukulele Orchestra. We get together from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays at The Bordello restaurant on Main Street in Jerome. You can also find us on Facebook and on YouTube.
So remember, anything you need to know can be found on YouTube, or if, stop by my store in Jerome for a quick lesson and jam session. See you next time your in Jerome!
